We use cryoEM, biochemistry, microscopy, and animal models to\u00a0study the regulation of LPL, the lipase responsible for regulating plasma triglyceride levels. It is important to understand LPL&#8217;s role in regulating plasma triglyceride levels, as they are an independent risk factor for heart disease, which is the leading cause of death worldwide.
