The F32 provides stipend support and institutional allowances for three years. Adam\u2019s project focuses on understanding the physiological significance of alternative splicing and the factors that govern splicing regulation in the heart. Specifically, Adam is using CRISPR mouse models to investigate how clathrin heavy chain (Cltc) splice forms contribute to cardiac physiology and metabolism during development and under conditions of hypertrophy and heart failure.
