Dr. Kathleen Caron<\/a>, assistant professor of cell and molecular physiology and of genetics has been named a 2008 Jefferson-Pilot Fellow by the UNC School of Medicine. This annual award by the UNC School of Medicine is given to promising junior faculty to explore new ideas in research, teaching or clinical treatment.
