The press release issued by UNC School of Medicine news has been picked up by many online news sources such as ScienceDaily, EurekAlert, and the Children\u2019s Neurobiological Solutions Foundation. Study first author <b>Courtney Thaxton, PhD,<\/b> has been working to unravel the molecular organization and critical proteins at the nodes of Ranvier, and how dysfunction at the nodes contributes to demyelination and the disruption of nerve impulse conduction.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"external-link\">UNC SOM press release
