Please note: Poster sessions are reserved for Cell & Molecular Physiology department members and affiliates.<\/p>\n

ABSTRACTS<\/p>\n

  1. Abstracts must be submitted by 5PM on Friday, September 10<\/span>, 2009.<\/span> This allows us time to prepare and produce the Research Day abstract booklet.<\/li>\n
  2. Abstracts must be submitted electronically. Prepare your abstract in Word (Windows or Macintosh) and use the first author\u2019s last name as the name of the file (e.g. author.doc). If the same person will be the first author on 2 abstracts, use author1.doc and author2.doc. Send the files as an attachment to adrianat@med.unc.edu<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Each abstract should provide a title, a list of authors (with the name of the presenting author underlined), and a summary of the project (< 300 words). Be sure to acknowledge your funding source. Use Arial 10 point<\/span> as the font and specify 1.0 inch margins. View sample abstract >><\/li>\n
  4. **Double check your text to make sure that all symbols survived the font change.**<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    POSTERS<\/p>\n

    1. Poster boards are 60 inches wide by 40 inches tall. Keep this size in mind as you plan your display.\u00a0 A limited number of wall spaces will accomodate larger posters.\u00a0 Contact Adriana if your poster will exceed 60\u2033x40\u2033.<\/li>\n
    2. If you plan to use a laptop as part of your poster presentation, please let Adriana know so that she can locate your poster close to an electrical outlet.<\/li>\n
    3. PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED FOR THE BEST POSTERS SUBMITTED BY STUDENTS & POSTDOCS.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
