The grant will fund the study of the supramolecular organization of proteins at the postsynaptic density of neurons in rodent hippocampus, to better understand their role in signal transduction, and to explore how mutations in synaptic proteins implicated in neuropsychiatric disease may disrupt postsynaptic structure.
