The Office of AIDS Research (OAR) in collaboration with NIH Institutes and Offices has announced the dates for their upcoming Office Hours for ECIs in HIV Research<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Friday, March 27<\/b>\u00a0(1pm-4pm ET);\u00a0Register by 5pm ET on Thursday, March 26<\/u>.<\/li>\n
  2. Monday, April 6<\/b>\u00a0(2pm-4pm ET);\u00a0Register by 5pm ET on Sunday, April 5<\/u>.<\/li>\n
  3. Wednesday, April 8<\/b>\u00a0(2pm-4pm ET);\u00a0Register by 5pm ET on Tuesday, April 7<\/u>.<\/li>\n
  4. Friday, April 10<\/b>\u00a0(1pm-4pm ET);\u00a0Register by 5pm ET on Thursday April 9<\/u>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    These 30-minute one-on-one (1:1) appointments with NIH Program Officers (PO) are<\/b>\u00a0reserved exclusively for ECIs who intend to submit an application in 2026<\/b>.<\/p>\n

    You qualify as an Early Career Investigator (ECI) if\u00a0any<\/u>\u00a0of the following apply:<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. You are an NIH Early Stage Investigator (ESI); or<\/li>\n
    2. You have not yet received an R01 or R01-equivalent award; or<\/li>\n
    3. You are within the first 2 years of your first R01 or R01-equivalent award<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
