He joined the UNC CFAR in 2014 to lead the CPAC Core\u2019s research program designed to translate the fundamental performance of a novel mass spectrometry imaging platform, IR-MALDESI, for clinical applications. His research focuses on the development of methods to measure the intracellular distribution of therapeutics and their metabolites in a variety of biological matrices using IR-MALDESI.
