Her research investigates how intestinal microbes and their metabolites influence host signaling networks that drive chronic inflammatory diseases\, including inflammatory bowel disease\, fibrosis\, and microbe-associated tumorigenesis. Her work focuses on microbial metabolite–driven macrophage activation\, immune–stromal crosstalk\, and fibroblast activation to identify molecular targets that may prevent or reverse chronic inflammation and its downstream pathologies.
