He has been an active participant of the data analysis teams analyzing microbiome data generated from the Human Microbiome Project and the Microbiome Quality Control Project. He has a long-standing history in next generation sequencing technology and bioinformatics, including developing bioinformatics algorithms and new tools for the visualization and interpretation of biological data.
