Position Summary: The Research Scientist will work in the Center for Health Equity Research (CHER), in the Department of Social Medicine. Under the supervision of Research Scientist and in collaboration with the Director, Associate Director, and staff, the Research Scientist will assist with all pre- and post-award research activities encompassed within the Center. Primary responsibilities include development of scholarly products (e.g., grants, supplements, publications); provision of support for research teams and stakeholders to facilitate project-specific and cross-project coordination for the Project GRACE research studies under PIs Corbie-Smith and Dave; development and administration of data collection, management, and analysis procedures; and working with the Center staff in administration of pre-award and study related activities. This position will include periodic travel to community-based research and data collection sites.
