Jada Brooks, Ph.D., MPSH, R.N., FAAN, CHER Associate, was in the recent list of newly named distinguished professors at UNC. Brooks is the Carol Morde Ross Distinguished Term Scholar, effective from November 2021.

An associate professor in the School of Nursing, Brooks’ work focuses on promoting environmental health equity for American Indian women. The Carol Morde Ross Distinguished Professorship provides recognition and support to nursing faculty members “focused on psychiatric-mental health nursing care.” Read more from the School of Nursing.
