Aditi Yerra is a Research Assistant in the Center for Health Equity Research, supporting the Co-LEARN project. She is currently working toward her Bachelor in Public Health through the Gillings School of Global Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy & Management.

Outside of CHER, Yerra is the Co-Director of Student Wellness & Safety in the Undergraduate Student Government’s Executive Branch, advocating for mental health and safety to become more accessible to students across campus. She also serves as the Outreach Director for She’s Not Here, an all-female ride-share service in and around Chapel Hill.

Yerra is passionate about advancing health equity through community-based participatory research and the reduction of systemic barriers facing minority populations to increase healthcare access.
