BIOGRAPHY
Dzidzai Muyengwa is a Research Program Manager at the UNC Center for Health Equity Research (CHER) where she provides research support and analysis. Her upbringing in Zimbabwe fueled her passion to help vulnerable populations everywhere live healthier lives. She is passionate about health equity, maternal and child health, implementation science, and combining research with action. Duke Global Health Innovation Center‘s Launch and Scale Speedometer project, supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She earned her Master of Public Health degree at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Global Health and Environment and a minor in Medical Anthropology from UNC.
