Dr. Clement is a pediatric intensivist whose research focuses on quality improvement measures in critical care settings to enhance clinical guidelines and improve patient outcomes. Her efforts have involved partnering with multidisciplinary groups on unit and hospital-wide projects, including those focused on congenital heart disease, IV drug use studies and hand hygiene initiatives. Dr. Clement is also interested in quality improvement methods surrounding use of extracorporeal life support (ECLS) and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in pediatric settings.
