To achieve this, the CIDD is structured as a comprehensive interdisciplinary center, which:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Offers state-of-the-art, culturally sensitive clinical services for individuals with developmental disabilities across the age span<\/li>\n<li>Provides specialized training opportunities in clinical care and research<\/li>\n<li>Serves as a technical assistance resource to community-based programs and providers<\/li>\n<li>Advances research ranging from basic to applied science, including research that represents the needs and experiences of many different populations<\/li>\n<li>Engages in policy guidance and advocacy efforts<\/li>\n<li>Disseminates evidence-based information related to neurodevelopmental conditions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Through this work, the CIDD aims to positively impact the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
