Our CI fellows are embedded within our internationally renowned UNC Health Information Services Division (UNC ISD)<\/strong> where they will gain rich operational, strategic, quality improvement, research, and informatics experiences across multiple settings.<\/p>\n

UNC ISD was one of the first organizations in the world to achieve HIMSS Level 7 for the Adoption Model for Analytics Maturity and HIMSS Level 7 outpatient and inpatient designations. UNC Health was one of 12 national beta launch partners for Apple\u2019s Health Records. We are the first health system to natively embed a virtual visit platform for telemedicine into Epic, and one of the first customers to launch the Epic Virtual Care Companion application for care coordination and patient engagement. Additionally, our partners in strategy, change management, leadership, quality improvement, advanced analytics, innovation, and research across our enterprise and the UNC School of Medicine provide rich learning opportunities and experiences for our fellows.<\/p>\n
