SUMMARY:Computational Medicine Seminar
DESCRIPTION:Petter Brodin\, MD\, PhD\nAssociate Professor\, Human Systems Immunology\, Director of SciLifeLab Mass cytometry at Karolinska Institute\, Sweden \nTalk Title: “Human Systems Immunology” \n  \nPetter Brodin is a consultant in pediatric immunology combining clinical work at the Karolinska University Hospital\, with leading a research team of 15 members at the Science for Life Laboratory\, the Karolinska Institute. The team develops and applies system immunology approaches to study human immune system variation in health and disease and immune development early in life. The work of the group involves the elucidation of heritable and non-heritable factors that shape human immunity\, immune system development and adaptation early in life as well as a research program in clinical application of systems immunology. To enable these activities the group develops novel experimental and computational methods to more comprehensively and accurately monitoring immune systems in humans.
