Sorger at Harvard Medical School&#8217;s Laboratory of Systems Pharmacology and Department of Systems Biology, where I applied experiments and computation to understand the mechanisms of combinations of cancer therapies, with particular focus on the origins and therapeutic consequences of cell-to-cell and patient-to-patient heterogeneity in cancers.<\/p>\n<p>I completed my Ph.D in Systems Biology at Harvard University with Roy Kishony, researching the relationships between mechanisms of drug action and the evolution of drug resistance. For my B.Sc (Honours) at The University of Adelaide, Australia, I completed majors in Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Physics, and with Keith Shearwin I researched gene regulation by protein traffic on DNA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have joined the faculty of the Department of Pharmacology and Computational Medicine Program at UNC Chapel Hill.
