The core manages seven state-of-the-art mass spectrometry systems for both proteomic and metabolomic services and provides additional capabilities and expertise in sample preparation, data analysis, research design, and consultation. He\u2019s also a harm reduction advocate, scientist, mentor, scientific advisor, community outreach specialist, and, most recently, MacArthur Fellow1. Dasgupta\u2019s work centers around addressing the opioid epidemic at the community level. On one front, he is co-founder and Board Chair for the non-profit Remedy Alliance\/For The People.
