{"id":4113,"date":"2021-11-12T15:38:08","date_gmt":"2021-11-12T20:38:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/corefacilities\/?page_id=4113"},"modified":"2021-11-12T16:06:13","modified_gmt":"2021-11-12T21:06:13","slug":"citation-and-acknowledgement-of-cores","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/corefacilities\/ort\/resources-for-core-customers\/citation-and-acknowledgement-of-cores\/","title":{"rendered":"Citation and Acknowledgement of Cores"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>The Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF) has assembled <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.abrf.org\/authorship-guidelines\">these guidelines<\/a><\/strong> for determining when acknowledgment of core facility personnel is appropriate in publications and manuscripts<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Proper acknowledgement fo the individuals and cores that contributed to research resulting in publication is vital for cores&#8217; continued success:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Core facility personnel are scientists.
