These awards recognize the value and importance of the staff in our biomedical research core facilities.\u00a0 This program will offer up to three awards acknowledging the efforts and contributions of <b>SHRA and EHRA non-faculty\u00a0<\/b>staff members in the biomedical research cores at UNC.\u00a0 One award may be given in each of three categories:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Technical Achievement<\/li>\n<li>Customer Service<\/li>\n<li>Performance Excellence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Specific criteria and examples for each of these awards can be found\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/corefacilities\/core-facilities-staff-recognition-program#nominate\" href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/corefacilities\/core-facilities-staff-recognition-program#nominate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"0\">on the website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Anyone can nominate a staff member for the award (no self-nominations, though) so please forward the award announcement to other core facility stakeholders, customers or other lab members who may wish to nominate a staff member!<\/p>\n<p>Nominees and nominators can be from any of the Schools at UNC.\u00a0 Nominations are open through <strong>May 2, 2025<\/strong>, with winners announced in late May.
