The Clinical Research Personnel Profile and Training System is designed to collect standardized data about clinical research personnel and will assign training based on specific duties. The PaTS will provide users with a profile that should be updated once every six months or when a user’s responsibilities change. Future CRSO initiatives including a competency-based career ladder and alignment of clinical research positions will be informed by the personnel data from the profile tool, making it imperative that all SOM employees involved in human subjects research create an accurate profile.

Future phases of the system will assign training based on roles and responsibilities. Users will be notified when future phases of the system are implemented, and when training is assigned.
