New users are not allowed to use the spectrometer unsupervised until they have satisfied that manager that they are not a hazard to the spectrometers.<\/p>\n<p>The fee for training is $200.00 and covers all training a user requires to carry out the experiments required for her (or his) research. Prospective users should email the lab manager to schedule training.<\/p>\n<p>Spectrometer time is generally scheduled on a weekly basis. Weekly schedules are posted on Friday. Users wishing to <strong><a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/csb\/nmr\/instrumentation\/equipment-scheduling\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">request NMR time<\/a><\/strong> should contact the <strong><a title=\"\" href=\"\/csb\/nmr\/contact\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Director<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Training Procedures The lab manager trains new users to operate the spectrometers.
