Biorepository

The pelvic floor disorders biorepository, called Urogene, includes a database of clinical information and biospecimens of women seeking care by the UNC Division of Urogynecology. Clinical information includes data on demographics, patient and family medical and surgical history, and validated questionnaires regarding PFDs. The purpose of the biorepository is to establish a cohort of subjects with linked clinical and genetic data to be used in future research that will advance scientific knowledge and provide insights into opportunities to implement preventative interventions, address modifiable risk factors, and tailor treatment recommendations for women living with pelvic floor disorders.
