Submission Confirmation

Thank you for your submission to the 2023 Women’s Health Poster Presentation & Awards Program!

Abstracts will be reviewed and judged on the following criteria:

• Impact to the delivery of health care in North Carolina
• The evaluation of sex as a biological variable
• Multidisciplinary science
• Impact on health equity
• Overall scientific value

Awards* will be distributed to the highest-scored submissions in the following categories:

• Best poster by an undergraduate student ($400)
• Best poster by a graduate student, resident, or fellow ($500)
• Best poster by faculty or staff ($600)

If you did not upload your poster, researcher bio, or (optional) headshot at this time, please email it to cwhr@unc.edu by Friday, March 31. Posters will be featured on the CWHR website and social media channels during National Women’s Health Week (May 14-20) with awards being announced on Thursday, May 18. All submissions will be included in the presentation.
