Patients receive complete skin examinations in this clinic. The technologies of baseline cutaneous digital imaging, dermoscopy, and reflectance confocal microscopy are incorporated into the methodologies for following these patients. Patients with a history of melanoma are often also followed in conjunction with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/surgonc\">Surgical Oncology<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/hemonc\">Hematology\/Oncology<\/a>. The physicians with a special interest in melanoma from these specialties and from pathology meet bimonthly as the Multidisciplinary Melanoma Group to discuss difficult cases.
