This two-day workshop will focus on the sequence of expanding and complex language development using the Cottage Acquisition Scales for Listening, Language and Speech (CASLLS) in conjunction with the Bloom and Lahey model for typical language as roadmaps. Participants will gain knowledge about the developmental sequence of language and use these roadmaps to track and facilitate development by analyzing language samples. Planning motivating language lessons for developmental, delayed and remedial students will also be addressed.
