University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio
Being a Nebraskan, there is only one interest that matters: Nebraska Cornhusker football. However, in my free time that is not dedicated to watching football, I enjoy reading, hanging out with my husband and having date nights, traveling, camping, and playing with our boxer, Penny.
Why I chose UNC:
When you come to UNC you'll meet the residents and the attendings, and that's enough to sell you on the program. Beyond that, we have a unique program in that we get exposure to emergency medicine in both public and private hospitals. Our training at UNC and WakeMed is unparalleled with high volume and high acuity, lots of procedures and phenomenal teaching. Further, off service rotations are structured to enhance our residency education, not send us to other services for scut work. I couldn't be happier with my decision to come here for residency.
