Bio

Dr. Chris Howarth is the Clinical Leader of the Adult EM US program. He is involved in monitor faculty credentialing progress, keeps faculty up-to-date on clinical scanning protocols and is a master of QA. He is also known as the “kidney master” and “hydro king”. A word from Chris: "Most of my time is spent teaching clinically in the department, doing group and individual US QA sessions with the residents and faculty and encouraging our staff to use ultrasound as frequently as I once used my stethoscope. POCUS is the most important advance to the specialty of Emergency Medicine in my 30 years of practice and I am excited to help spread its use."
