Iuri Felix, MD, served as the Research Assistant for the PECC project, being responsible for day-to-day program management tasks, including monitoring project progress, scheduling meetings, developing agendas, and distributing project content on multiple platforms. He also worked as a research instructor and teaching assistant for the ISHTaR Program, mentoring students on research projects. He obtained his Medical Degree from Federal University of Bahia (Brazil) and brings extensive experience in prehospital and emergency care. In his previous roles, Dr. Felix has worked with research laboratories investigating the impact of cardiovascular diseases on cognitive decline and neurologic performance. Additionally, he has explored the association between cardiovascular risk factors and clinical outcomes. Moving forward, he plans to pursuit his residency training in the United States.
