Applicants will interview with the PD, an APD, a core faculty member, and a resident.<\/p>\n<p>Interviewees will be invited to attend one of the weekly resident-led events one night each week. These will occur over zoom and take the place of the traditional pre-interview day dinners. A video will be shared prior to the event covering &#8220;Resident Life at UNC EM.&#8221; The event will include Q&amp;A portion and breakout rooms for applicants to get to know our residents! We strongly encourage applicants to attend one of these events close to their interview dates. There will be flexibility in which week interviewees can attend, as we realize there will likely be overlap with other virtual interview sessions. Additional information regarding these events will be provided with interview day invitations.<\/p>\n<p>We do anticipate organizing optional in-person 2nd look weekends for applicants to visit our campus and experience the local scene. These visits will NOT include any further interviews or time with residency leadership as we are very intentional to not allow attendance at 2nd look visits to bias our rank list. 2nd looks provide more information and experiences for only the <strong><em>applicants<\/em><\/strong> to make the right decision for themselves in choosing a program.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Interview season will be held virtually.
