Faculty members apply epidemiological expertise to a variety of cardiovascular health problems in clinical and translational research. The Department of Emergency Medicine encompasses a broad area of investigations including patient-oriented research, clinical trials, health services, and epidemiological research. We aim to inform clinical practice and to improve cardiovascular health at the clinical and population level.<\/p>\n

Faculty members\u2019 research interest include the following: heart failure, myocardial infarction, stroke, prehospital emergency care, cardiac rehabilitation, arterial stiffness, and women\u2019s health.<\/p>\n
