A nationally recognized clinician and researcher in the field of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Brice has been involved with the SAEM for over 30 years.<\/p>\n

“The Association of Academic Chairs of Emergency Medicine serves to provide education, support, and advocacy for the leaders of the academic departments of emergency medicine across the country,” said Dr. Brice.<\/p>\n

“To support leaders of this caliber and maturity is a humbling and immense honor. I look forward to the coming year as our specialty continues to grow and contribute to the science of emergency medicine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Brice is a Professor and Chair of the UNC Department of Emergency Medicine, and holds adjunct appointments in the Departments of Epidemiology and Social Medicine. Dr. Brice is also Editor in Chief for Prehospital Emergency Care and has a long history of providing leadership and sharing her passion for Emergency Medicine via numerous professional organizations.<\/p>\n
