Meet Nikki Hughes

Nikki Hughes is a graduate of the State of Hawaii School for Aestheticians where she obtained her license to practice aesthetics. Subsequently, Nikki is also licensed in nursing.

In the clinic, she uses a variety of techniques to help improve skin health in all ages and skin types. It is her belief that each person’s situation is unique, and the best results come from developing an evidence-based customized treatment plan that fits their lifestyle. Her areas of expertise include laser resurfacing for wrinkles, scars, and discoloration. Additionally, she uses other nonsurgical cosmetic treatments for correction and overall skin quality, including Broadband Light (BBL), chemical peels, and micro-needling.

Her goal is to make certain her patients understand their treatment options, and what will work best for their individual condition. Being a part of UNC Health and UNC School of Medicine allows her the opportunity to provide patients with excellent care using advanced therapies and follow her passion for education and training the next generation of providers. When she isn’t taking care of her patients, Nikki enjoys spending time in her art studio.
