Dr. Rahul Varman is the Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellow working alongside Dr. Miller and Dr. Clark at the UNC Facial Nerve Center. After graduating from the prestigious Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, he completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He was then awarded a 1-year fellowship at the University of North Carolina to study the treatment of facial paralysis along with other facial plastic and reconstructive surgical conditions.

Dr. Varman is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, the Sir Charles Bell Society (international organization of clinicians dedicated to caring for patients with facial paralysis), the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association. He is passionate about caring for patients with facial paralysis and plans to start a facial nerve center after he completes his fellowship, increasing access to high quality care for facial paralysis patients. You will likely meet Dr. Varman at your consultation visit with Dr. Miller at the UNC Facial Nerve Center.
