A North Carolina native, she graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor\u2019s degrees in Biology and Exercise &amp; Sport Science. She has a background in laboratory medicine and Dermatology where she previously worked as a medical assistant.<\/p>\n<p>Having had facial paralysis herself, Carter understands the challenges patients go through as they are dealing with their facial asymmetry and decreased facial function. She loves being part of a team that offers cutting edge treatments to facial paralysis patients in the southeast. She is committed to providing compassionate care alongside Dr. Miller.
