Alden Pridgen is a Speech-Language Pathologist whose passion turned to purpose when she chose to expand her love of music and the stage into a career of helping others. Alden graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Music degree in Opera and Vocal Performance and obtained her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.<\/p>\n<p>Alden\u00a0trained for the treatment of <span class=\"marknkr3a58b5\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">facial<\/span>\u00a0paralysis with\u00a0<span class=\"marknkr3a58b5\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Facial<\/span>\u00a0Therapy Specialists International (FTSI). As a performer, Alden understands the importance of\u00a0<span class=\"marknkr3a58b5\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">facial<\/span>\u00a0expression as an integral part of verbal and non-verbal communication. She strives to work with patients on regaining symmetry, function and comfort in their personal identity by working closely with the patient and multidisciplinary\u00a0<span class=\"marknkr3a58b5\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">facial<\/span>\u00a0nerve team to achieve patient centered goals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>H.
