Graham Cochrane, MD was introduced to otolaryngology through his PhD work on vestibular/balance function in children and his brother-in-law’s story of having a trach from age 8-months to 18-years. He was fascinated both by the dramatic improvements in quality-of-life people receive from ENT interventions as well as the possibility of establishing long-term patient-doctor relationships.
