About
Inbar Fried, MS, MD, MHD loves the diversity in otolaryngology – the subspecialties, the surgical skillsets, the pathologies, and the patients. Getting to learn all of these things within the complex and beautiful anatomy of the head and neck makes it all the more exciting to her. Being able to work with patients to improve their quality of life medically and surgically is such a rewarding experience, and one that is, in many ways, unique to this field.

UNC's program is excellent in every subspecialty and I knew that I would come out of residency able to pursue any career I wanted in otolaryngology. Beyond the clinical and academic merits, the most important thing to me when selecting a residency was the culture of the program. This is a program where I truly felt at home and I knew that I would be happy going through the challenges of residency with this awesome group of residents, faculty, and staff.
