Resident Taylor Stack Elected Co-President of House Staff Council
The Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery congratulates Taylor Stack on her election as Co-President of the UNC House Staff Council.
The House Staff Council represents residents and fellows across UNC Health, advocating for trainee well-being and providing resident representation on institutional committees that help shape policies related to graduate medical education, workplace resources and patient care.
As Co-President, Stack will help represent the interests of residents and fellows while working to advance initiatives that support the trainee experience across UNC Health.
“I am excited to serve as Co-President of the House Staff Council and represent the interests of residents and fellows across UNC Health,” said Stack. “I was drawn to this role because the House Staff Council serves as a voice for trainees, advocating for improvements in education, wellness and workplace resources. I am so grateful for all within the OHNS department who have taught and mentored me, as the skills I have learned from them will allow me to effectively serve in this role.”
