\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Pronouns:<\/strong>\u00a0He\/Him\/His<\/p>\n Hometown: <\/strong>Raleigh, NC<\/p>\n Undergraduate Degree:<\/strong>\u00a02007 \u2013 BS \u2013 Wake Forest University<\/p>\n MD:<\/strong>\u00a02012 \u2013 Wake Forest School of Medicine<\/p>\n Residency:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a02017 \u2013 Virginia Commonwealth University Health System<\/p>\n Hobbies:<\/strong>\u00a0Cinematography, video editing, clay target sports (sporting clays), watching Formula One racing, spending time with my wife and dog.<\/p>\n \n I was previously in practice in general otolaryngology for six years in New Bern, NC. \u00a0During that time, I found that I had a deep passion for all things related to the nose and sinuses. \u00a0 \u00a0This led me to return to training in Rhinology. \u00a0I find that we have a tremendous capability to improve someone’s quality of life through nasal and sinus surgery, and I wake up each day excited to help others.<\/p>\n \n During my time practicing in Eastern North Carolina, I would sometimes come across patients who required a higher level of care than what we could provide locally. \u00a0It quickly became clear that UNC’s Department of Otolaryngology not only provided the best surgical care in the region, but also the most patient-centric care. \u00a0Everybody, from the office staff to the patient navigators to the surgeons themselves, clearly had a focus on delivering the best care to our patients who we had referred to Chapel Hill. \u00a0When the time came to pursue a Rhinology fellowship, UNC was my top choice.<\/p>\nWhy Rhinology?<\/strong><\/h3>\n
