Close family members of mine have experienced firsthand how transformative otolaryngologic care can be, sparking my initial interest in the field. As I explored further, I was drawn to the breadth of the patient population, the complexity of the pathology and anatomy, and the opportunity to build meaningful, lasting relationships with patients.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>Why UNC?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">During my away rotation at UNC, I immediately felt at home. From day one, residents and attendings welcomed me as part of the team, eager to both teach and get to know me. The program\u2019s commitment to resident education, innovation, and a supportive learning environment stood out. Choosing UNC for my otolaryngology residency feels like coming full circle\u2014my wife attended UNC for undergrad, and her family still calls the area home, making Chapel Hill feel like home to me as well. I\u2019m incredibly grateful and excited to be joining a place that means so much to me both personally and professionally.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Fun Fact:
