Hobbies: <\/strong>Being outdoors (golf, skiing, tennis, fishing), trying new restaurants and breweries, spending time with my wife and our goldendoodle, and Texas Tech athletics<\/p>\n

Why Otolaryngology?<\/h2>\n

I was drawn to otolaryngology because of its unique integration of surgical and clinical approaches in treating a diverse range of pathologies in the head and neck. I find it deeply rewarding to care for an area of the body so essential to how we perceive and engage with the world through our senses.<\/p>\n

Why UNC?<\/h2>\n

UNC offers outstanding training across all subspecialties, with unmatched mentorship and abundant research opportunities. During my time as a visiting student, I was impressed by the strong camaraderie between residents and attendings, and I felt confident that the environment at UNC would prepare me exceptionally well for a career as an otolaryngologist.<\/p>\n
