In addition, the event offers education about the causes of throat cancer, such as smoking and tobacco use, as well as alcohol abuse.<\/p>\n<p>Symptoms of throat cancer include trouble swallowing food, mouth soreness, persistent hoarseness and weight loss.  If you exhibit any of the above symptoms of throat cancer, you should be screened.
