On April 13, 2015, Kibwei McKinney, a PGY-7 Resident for the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery was the recipient of the Robert C. Cefalo Award. The award is given to those who have demonstrated empathy for patients and families as well as conveyed the ability to effectively listen to and communicate with patients. Furthermore, the recipient must demonstrate the highest standards of patient care and uphold exemplary professional and interpersonal interactions with colleagues, staff, patients, and visitors. <\/p>\n
