\"\"<\/a>Dr. Austin S. Rose, MD, MBA, FARS<\/a> has been promoted to\u00a0Vice Chair, Finance<\/i>\u00a0in the Department of Otolaryngology\/Head & Neck Surgery. In 2019, Dr. Rose completed the Executive MBA Program with a concentration in Finance at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. His area of clinical expertise is Pediatric Rhinology, Allergy & Sinus Surgery and his new duties will include strategy, compensation planning, and valuation of proposed projects for the Department.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“This will be a great fit for me”, said Dr. Rose. “I greatly appreciate the opportunity and the confidence of our Department Chairman, Dr. Wendell G. Yarbrough, MD, MMHC, FACS.\u00a0\u00a0I’m always happy to do whatever I can to help the Department and our wonderful institution.”<\/p>\n

Dr. Rose received his MD with Honors in 1997 and completed his residency training in Otolaryngology\/Head & Neck Surgery in 2002, both at UNC.\u00a0 After a fellowship in Pediatric ENT at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he returned to Chapel Hill as a member of the faculty in 2003.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
