– Computational biology/bioinformatics researchers interested in analyzing genomics data, including DNA looping data

Research in the Dowen Lab investigates the link between genome organization and gene expression. We seek to understand how the looping of DNA impacts the expression of genes within a cell and how dynamic changes are brought about during normal development and disease processes. We employ functional genomics approaches to study the mechanisms of transcriptional regulation and control of chromosome architecture in embryonic stem cells and cancer cells. We are seeking highly-motivated and team-focused colleagues to work on exciting studies at the intersection of chromatin biology, computational biology, and human health.
