Founded in 2014\, Productive Power is a result of our CEO’s personal mission to increase his own productivity. During his years running multiple companies within the fields of technology and  education\, he found himself challenged with a continuous flood of emails and a never-ending to-do list. His own experiences\, along with his desire to help others facing similar challenges\, became the driving forces behind this program. Today\, our team of dedicated coaches helps professionals fully utilize their software tools to become more productive. Professionals in all industries come to us because they are frustrated that there is never enough time in the day to get everything done\,  overwhelmed with email and worried about dropping the ball because they don’t have a good system for managing and prioritizing tasks. We address these  challenges by providing training in the digital tools people use to manage their email\, tasks\, calendar\, notes\, and teams. Since most professionals have access to very powerful software but only use a fraction of the functionality\, our program can have a significant impact on productivity. Empowered by technology\, our clients accomplish more\, beat deadlines and enjoy peace of mind in and out of the office.

SUMMARY:Empowering Your Time: Practical strategies to do more of what matters
DESCRIPTION:Goal of session: \nAt the end of this session\, participants should feel more empowered\, confident\, and optimistic about managing their time. In the session I will outline four key tips for managing your time. \n\nDeciding intentionally what is most important for you.\nPlanning your work with deep and shallow frameworks.\nUnderstanding how your emotions influence your work.\nThe importance of reflection for continuous improvement.\n\n\nDescription: \nToo often we are busy without being productive. Our days are full without being fulfilling. We have too much on our plates and not enough time for the things that matter most. Managing your time is not just something you do\, it’s how you do everything in your life. When we think about time management\, often things like task apps\, calendars\, and scheduling programs come to mind. However\, good time management requires a much deeper understanding of our own minds. The reasons you procrastinate or avoid certain tasks go much deeper than just needing another app on your phone. In this session\, Dr. Shenvi will use concepts that range from Stoic philosophy to modern educational psychology literature to explain why we avoid certain tasks and will give practical strategies to help you manage your time better with less stress. \n\nSpeaker:\n\nChristina Shenvi\, MD\, PhD\, MBA is a practicing Emergency Physician\, educator\, writer\, speaker\, and mom of four. She is an assistant professor at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill\, and director of the UNC Office of Academic Excellence. She also teaches and coaches about time management. Her goal is to help busy professionals feel less stress about their time and be more successful. You can read more on her website: www.timeforyourlife.org \n  \nBefore the session:\n\nCompletion of the pre-work is highly recommended to be completed at least 1 week prior to the event.  Instructions on how to complete the pre-work will be in your confirmation email once you register. \n\nClick here to register!
