DESCRIPTION:Save the date for the multidisciplinary grand rounds with visiting professor Danielle Ofri\, MD\, PhD on Wednesday\, November 20\, 2019 from 7:00-8:00AM in Old Clinic 4008 (overflow location: Bondurant G100). This event is co-sponsored by the Office of Faculty Affairs & Leadership Development\, the SOM Well-Being Committee\, and the Departments of Anesthesiology and Surgery. There will be a variety of events throughout the week of November 18th—22nd\, all of which can be found here. \n\nDanielle Ofri\, MD\, PhD\, is a physician at Bellevue Hospital in New York City\, and a faculty member of NYU School of Medicine. She writes about medicine and the doctor-patient connection for the New York Times\, Slate Magazine\, and other publications. Dr. Ofri is co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Bellevue Literary Review\, the first literary journal to arise from a medical setting.  She is the author of a collection of books about the world of medicine\, including “What Patients Say\, What Doctors Hear”\, “What Doctors Feel”\, and “Medicine in Translation: Journeys with My Patients”.
